وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ

Muhammad Habib Shakir: And (with) Samood, who hewed out the rocks in the valley,

Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?-

M.Pickthall: And with (the tribe of) Thamud, who clove the rocks in the valley;

Amatul Rahmân Omer: And (how He dealt with the tribe of) Thamûd who hewed out huge rocks in the valley (to make their housings)?
