وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Though he puts forth his excuses.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Even though he were to put up his excuses.
  • M.Pickthall: Although he tender his excuses.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: (No excuse will be accepted from him) even though he puts forth his (all possible) excuses, (to prove his innocence).
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Though he put up excuses.
