Surah An Najm (The Star) Ayat 1

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: I swear by the star when it goes down.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: By the Star when it goes down,-
  • M.Pickthall: By the Star when it setteth,
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: I call to witness every part of the Qur´ân when it is revealed,
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And in the night, give Him glory, too, and at the setting of the stars.
