Surah Al Waqiah (The Event) Ayat 87

تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful?
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?
  • M.Pickthall: Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful?
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: You do not bring it (- the soul) back (to the body of the dying person), if you are truthful (in your claim of being independent of the supreme authority)?
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Why then, if you are not held under authority,
