  • وَإِذْ
  • قَالَ
  • مُوسَىٰ
  • لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ
  • إِنَّ
  • ٱللَّهَ
  • يَأْمُرُكُمْ
  • أَن
  • تَذْبَحُوا۟
  • بَقَرَةً
  • ۖ
  • قَالُوٓا۟
  • أَتَتَّخِذُنَا
  • هُزُوًا
  • ۖ
  • قَالَ
  • أَعُوذُ
  • بِٱللَّهِ
  • أَنْ
  • أَكُونَ
  • مِنَ
  • ٱلْجَٰهِلِينَ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: (Recall) when Moses said to his people for their own good, `Verily, Allâh commands you to slaughter a cow.´ They said, `Do you make a mockery of us?´ He said, `I seek refuge with Allâh from being (one) of the ignorant.´
