  • وَإِذَا
  • بُشِّرَ
  • أَحَدُهُم
  • بِمَا
  • ضَرَبَ
  • لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
  • مَثَلًا
  • ظَلَّ
  • وَجْهُهُۥ
  • مُسْوَدًّا
  • وَهُوَ
  • كَظِيمٌ
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: Yet (as to themselves) when one of them is given the news (of the birth of a female child), the like of which (sex) he ascribes to the Most Gracious (God), his face becomes gloomy and he is choked with inward grief.
