Muhammad Habib Shakir: We give them to enjoy a little, then will We drive them to a severe chastisement.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: We grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting.
M.Pickthall: We give them comfort for a little, and then We drive them to a heavy doom.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: We shall let them enjoy (the worldly provisions) for a short while, then We shall drive them helplessly to a severe punishment.
Maulana Mohammad Ali: And whoever submits himself to Allah and does good (to others), he indeed takes hold of the firmest handle. And Allah’s is the end of affairs.
