إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Surely We bore you up in the ship when the water rose high,
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: We, when the water (of Noah´s Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark),
  • M.Pickthall: Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: (Similarly Noah was disobeyed) and no sooner did the water (begin to) rise high than We carried (people like) you in the floating Ark.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: So when the trumpet is blown with a single blast,
