فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَآءِىٓ إِلَّا فِرَارًا

Muhammad Habib Shakir: But my call has only made them flee the more:

Abdullah Yusuf Ali: "But my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right).

M.Pickthall: But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance;

Amatul Rahmân Omer: `But the more I call them the more they flee (from me).

Maulana Mohammad Ali: Then surely I have called to them aloud,
