لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: For him who begs and for him who is denied (good)
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking);
  • M.Pickthall: For the beggar and the destitute;
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: (Set apart) for one who asks (for help) and also (for one) who is prevented (even from asking for one reason or the other);
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: And those who are fearful of the chastisement of their Lord --
