Muhammad Habib Shakir: On the day when We will seize (them) with the most violent seizing; surely We will inflict retribution.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: One day We shall seize you with a mighty onslaught: We will indeed (then) exact Retribution!
M.Pickthall: On the day when We shall seize them with the greater seizure, (then) in truth We shall punish.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: (After this respite) We shall again seize (you) with the mighty onslaught one day, then We shall inflict a sure and stern punishment.
Maulana Mohammad Ali: We shall remove the chastisement a little, (but) you will surely return (to evil).
