فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ
Muhammad Habib Shakir:
So he conceived in his mind a fear on account of them. They said: Fear not. And they gave him the good news of a boy possessing knowledge.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali:
(When they did not eat), He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him glad tidings of a son endowed with knowledge.
M.Pickthall:
Then he conceived a fear of them. They said: Fear not! and gave him tidings of (the birth of) a wise son.
Amatul Rahmân Omer:
(When they did not eat) he felt afraid of them. They said, `Have no fear.´ And they proclaimed to him the good news of (the birth of) a son who would be blessed with knowledge
Maulana Mohammad Ali:
So he placed it before them. He said: Will you not eat?
