فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ
Muhammad Habib Shakir:
So they were not able to rise up, nor could they defend themselves-
Abdullah Yusuf Ali:
Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves.
M.Pickthall:
And they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves.
Amatul Rahmân Omer:
And they were not able (even) to get up on their feet nor could they get anybody´s help to defend themselves.
Maulana Mohammad Ali:
But they revolted against the commandment of their Lord, so the punishment overtook them, while they saw.
