  • Muhammad Habib Shakir: Those who, should We establish them in the land, will keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and enjoin good and forbid evil; and Allah´s is the end of affairs.
  • Abdullah Yusuf Ali: (They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs.
  • M.Pickthall: Those who, if We give them power in the land, establish worship and pay the poor-due and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity. And Allah´s is the sequel of events.
  • Amatul Rahmân Omer: They are (the persecuted people) who, if We establish them in the land (giving them power) will observe Prayer and keep on presenting the Zakât, and enjoin (people) to do good and forbid evil. And Allâh will finally settle all issues.
  • Maulana Mohammad Ali: Those who are driven from their homes without a just cause except that they say: Our Lord is Allah. And if Allah did not repel some people by others, cloisters, and churches, and synagogues, and mosques in which Allah’s name is much remembered, would have been pulled down. And surely Allah will help him who helps Him. Surely Allah is Strong, Mighty.
