Muhammad Habib Shakir: And certainly We have set forth to men in this Quran similitudes of every sort that they may mind.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: We have put forth for men, in this Qur´an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.
M.Pickthall: And verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur´an all kinds of similitudes, that haply they may reflect;
Amatul Rahmân Omer: And We have set forth for the people all sorts of excellent and useful proofs in this Qur´ân that they may take heed,
Maulana Mohammad Ali: So Allah made them taste disgrace in this worlds’ life, and certainly the chastisement of the Hereafter is greater. Did they but know!
