Muhammad Habib Shakir: And on the day when He shall call them and say: What was the answer you gave to the messengers?
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?"
M.Pickthall: And on the Day when He will call unto them and say: What answer gave ye to the messengers?
Amatul Rahmân Omer: (Let these disbelievers not forget) the day when He will call on them and say, `What response did you make to (the call of) the Messengers?´
Maulana Mohammad Ali: Those against whom the word has proved true will say: Our Lord, these are they whom we caused to deviate -- we caused them to deviate as we ourselves deviated. We declare our innocence before Thee. Us they never worshipped.
