Muhammad Habib Shakir: Who is then more unjust than who forges a lie against Allah or (who) gives the lie to His communications? Surely the guilty shall not be successful.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Who doth more wrong than such as forge a lie against Allah, or deny His Signs? But never will prosper those who sin.
M.Pickthall: Who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning Allah and denieth His revelations? Lo! the guilty never are successful.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: Who is then more unjust than he who forges a lie in the name of Allâh or cries lies to His Messages? It is but certain that the guilty shall never attain their goal.
Maulana Mohammad Ali: Say: If Allah had desired, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you. I have lived among you a lifetime before it. Do you not then understand?
