Muhammad Habib Shakir: So they said: On Allah we rely: O our Lord! make us not subject to the persecution of the unjust people:
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: They said: "In Allah do we put out trust. Our Lord! make us not a trial for those who practise oppression;
M.Pickthall: They said: In Allah we put trust. Our Lord! Oh, make us not a lure for the wrongdoing folk;
Amatul Rahmân Omer: Thereupon they said, `In Allâh alone do we put our trust. Our Lord! do not make us a target of persecution of the wrongdoing people.
Maulana Mohammad Ali: And Moses said: O my people, if you believe in Allah, then rely on Him if you submit (to Him).
