Muhammad Habib Shakir: They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"
M.Pickthall: They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: They said, `We give you good tidings on the basis of (the revelation of) truth; therefore do not be of the despairing ones (of the mercy of Allâh).´
Maulana Mohammad Ali: He said: Do you give me good news when old age has come upon me? Of what then do you give me good news?
