بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ الٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ
Muhammad Habib Shakir:
Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali:
A.L.R. These are the symbols (or Verses) of the perspicuous Book.
M.Pickthall:
Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verse of the Scripture that maketh plain.
Amatul Rahmân Omer:
Alif Lâm Râ - I am Allâh, the All-Seeing. These are the verses of the perfect Book, containing luminous (truths) that tell the right from the wrong.
Maulana Mohammad Ali:
And Allah’s is the unseen in the heavens and the earth, and to Him the whole affair will be returned. So serve Him and put thy trust in Him. And thy Lord is not heedless of what you do.
