Muhammad Habib Shakir: The friends shall on that day be enemies one to another, except those who guard (against evil).
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous.
M.Pickthall: Friends on that day will be foes one to another, save those who kept their duty (to Allah).
Amatul Rahmân Omer: On that Day friends will turn into foes one against another. Such, however, will not be the case with those who have become secure against evil.
