Muhammad Habib Shakir: And then We would certainly have given them from Ourselves a great reward.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: And We should then have given them from our presence a great reward;
M.Pickthall: And then We should bestow upon them from Our presence an immense reward,
Amatul Rahmân Omer: And in that case We could certainly have bestowed upon them from Ourself a great reward;
Maulana Mohammad Ali: And if We had enjoined them, Lay down your lives or go forth from your homes, they would not have done it except a few of them. And if they had done what they are exhorted to do, it would certainly have been better for them and more strengthening:
