Muhammad Habib Shakir: He said: My Lord knows what is spoken in the heaven and the earth, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali: Say: "My Lord knoweth (every) word (spoken) in the heavens and on earth: He is the One that heareth and knoweth (all things)."
M.Pickthall: He saith: My Lord knoweth what is spoken in the heaven and the earth. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
Amatul Rahmân Omer: (On the contrary the Prophet´s way is different.) He replied, `My Lord knows what is conceived in the heaven and the earth. And He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.´
Maulana Mohammad Ali: Their hearts trifling. And they -- the wrongdoers -- counsel in secret: He is nothing but a mortal like yourselves; will you then yield to enchantment while you see?
