وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Muhammad Habib Shakir:
And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali:
(Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress.
M.Pickthall:
And Noah, when he cried of old, We heard his prayer and saved him and his household from the great affliction.
Amatul Rahmân Omer:
And (We showed Our favours to) Noah. Behold! he called (to Us) in the days bygone. So We heard his prayer and delivered him and his companions from the great distressful calamity.
Maulana Mohammad Ali:
And We admitted him to Our mercy; surely he was of the righteous.
