قَالَ أَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Muhammad Habib Shakir:
He said: Respite me until the day when they are raised up.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali:
He said: "Give me respite till the day they are raised up."
M.Pickthall:
He said: Reprieve me till the day when they are raised (from the dead).
Amatul Rahmân Omer:
He (- Iblîs, in impertinent defiance) said, `Grant me respite till the day when they are raised up again.´
Maulana Mohammad Ali:
He said: Then get forth from this (state), for it is not for thee to behave proudly therein. Go forth, therefore, surely thou art of the abject ones.
